Hi
I have recently found a gravestone for Frederick Walter Newnham in broadwater cemetery and the headstone says my beloved husband so he was obviously married, but there is no wife subsequently buried there. He died aged 40 in 1926 and lived in St. Elmo road, worthing. I'm wondering if on the census his wife's name is there? Any help greatly received! Thanks, Kim

Due to copyright reasons we can't do any lookups for 1911 but there are other options.
His death is registered in the East Preston Registration District in 1926. In Dec qtr 1919 the FreeBMD index lists a marriage of a Frederick W Newnham to an Ethel M Russell in the East Preston Registration District

Hi Kay
Thanks for looking at that for me, sorry I didn't realise there were copyright restrictions on 1911 is it just that census or all of them?
I know he was buried in the November so that is the right quarter, I will look into this marriage hopefully it's the right one thank you!

It's just the 1911 census. You should be able to find a child born to the couple in 1922 on the index using the surname and mother's maiden name.
Good Luck Kay
