Hi,

Could somebody lookup John Swan Clark born abt. 1814 in Stannington, Northumberland, and his family who I believe are in Gateshead by 1861.

His wife could be known as Elizabeth or Ann born abt. 1819, Witton, Northumberland.

The two children I know of are: Thomas (born abt. 1843, Hebburn) and Barbara (born abt. 1845, Jarrow).

Hopefully the 1861 census will have a bit more detail on the family.

I am also researching the Clark family and wondered if you had any information regarding John Swan Clark's parents who were Joseph Clark and Ann Swan?
