Title: William Todd - Army 1855
Post by: tom1950 on Tuesday 30 July 13 02:50 BST (UK)
I do not know if my quest belongs here or under England

I am doing reeach on the Todd side of my family which came from Cumberland, England

I ran across a William Todd born January 12, 1832 in Cumberland. His father was John Todd born 1801.

I also have a William Todd as a private in the 2nd Battalion Rifle Brigade.  Sevice number 2222. It says he serverded in the Crimean War. Dated June 18, 1855.

I was wondering if these two William Todd's were the same person
