Could someone please check the 1841 & maybe the 1851 Liverpool Census.
I am trying to find the children of Robert & Mary Ann CAIN.
What makes this a little difficult is that there seems to be 2 x Robert CAIN's b. 1811 who both married a Mary Ann ???
The ones I'm looking for are in the 1841 Census but so far I don't know who else was at that residence -
1841 - Registration District of LIVERPOOL
Sub-District of Dale Street
CAIN, Robert (Occ Joiner) & wife Mary Ann (nee HARTLEY) both born abt 1811 and marr. 10 April 1831 @ St Paul, LIVERPOOL
Thanks
Glenn

Karenlee, Thanks for the good work. It has helped to shape the family a bit more.
Re the 1851, most likely other than the ref. to wife being just Ann and born IoM. Will have to ponder that one a bit more. Will be a bit more confident now going back to the Free BDM's etc.
The ref. to Jubilee St in the 1841 fits nicely with a note I have for that street in earlier years...
Thanks again for you help

I think 1851 census - Mary Ann aged 38 is a little fib
www.lan-opc.org.uk/Seach/indexp.html
marriage details april 1831
both Robert and Mary Ann of full age -(aged 21 or over ) so both born 1810 or earlier
Robert age 40 in 1851 is spot on - I think Mary Ann would be 40 also -typical woman , took a couple of years off ...lol

I think you have stirred up Karenlee a bit :-)
Noticed your ref. to Liverpool.. HARTLEY... is that one of the names in your tree by chance?
