Hi,
I am trying to establish who is registered on the census as living at 7 South Street, Gillingham, Wiltshire in the 1931 census. I know it's along shot, but is it possible that some kind soul would know where to look or look for me for this information?
Regards
Mark

Firstly, Gillingham is in Dorset! ;D
Second, the latest census available is the 1911.
So you're out of luck, I'm afraid.

There is also a Gillingham in Kent

Apologies, but Gillingham does also log as Wilts on Google!, I am aware of the Kent Gillingham, in fact that town in Kent is what has led me to the Dorset/Wilts one....! Any idea how I can check electoral rolls for that time then?

There's also a Gillingham in Norfolk! ;D
First place to try would be the local library or museum?

Or Dorset History centre?
