Post by: PaulOBrien on Thursday 18 July 13 11:57 BST (UK)
Hello All,

I was wondering is anyone could help/point me in direction of where I could find a picture of the old R.I.C. station/depot in Omagh back in 20's? My grandfather was stationed there in 22...Many Thanks

I think I am  right that this is the building, but could be wrong,There is an old story there is a blocked up tunnel across under the road to the Court house?Hope this is of some help, all so Omagh Libary has Street listings so if he lived away fron the station he should not be to hard to find, I have seen them listed in the Late 1890s I think under Derry?

The NLI.ie website has a wonderful collection of old photos - mostly glass-plate negatives - many from Tyrone and specifically Omagh.
