Thanks James,
Does look like a possibility, just looking at the cap badge on Wikipedia, only difference seems to be the direction of the birds head. Have cropped the photo to get a clearer look but unfortunately you cant make out any writing. Looking at their website, there was a W Baldock listed in the East Kent Regiment in 1917 which would be a strong possibility. Very frustrating that I can find no record for Wilfred and no links to our family apart from the photo. Even have a family photo of this generation of the family and all the children are accounted for and seems strange that one child would be missing. Will keep looking.
Thanks again for your help.

Looks like with the collar badges the birds faced opposite directions.

If he enlisted late 1918 or after and never went overseas to a theatre of war there will be no Medal Index Card which makes it very difficult

Good evening,
The picture shows the collar dogs of the 1st Dragoons not the 2nd (Royal Scots Greys) Dragoons. They have the No 105 under them which is the Eagle of the French 105th Infantry Regt Captured at Waterloo by Capt Clarke and Cpl Stiles of the 1st Dragoons.
