Title: Can some kind people date this photo

I have a photo that the owner has thought the subject was born 1820 and died 1903.
He emigrated 1855 from France to Victoria Australia, and was a wine maker.
Can you please say when one would where this attire. As I feel this fellow would be in his 50's and would have been around the early 1900's or very late 1800's

Almost impossible to say from this.We would need to see the original.
Certainly not 1880's & looks at the earliest Edwardian & possibly into the 1920's.
