Title: cottage Hospital (Mount pleasant)Lofthouse Gate Wakefield Yorkshire
Post by: Kevinshouse on Tuesday 09 July 13 21:44 BST (UK)
I wonder if anyone can help me regarding information for the above. I have found out that one of my ancestors  was in this hospital, but I cannot find anything about it. The date would have been the late 1800s. I am sorry that I have very little information.
Kind regards Susan

This link to Genuki mentions a cottage hospital being built at Stanley Lane End in 1870.

It is at the end of the chapter headed Stanley and Wrenthorpe which include Lofthouse Gate but it says only what I have told you here.
