I have a lot of information on this family. Most is taken from other sources.
The fisrt Mary Louisa was said to have died on the Androamche in 1841
Parents Henry Cadby Wells & Martha Cadby
I find it hard to believe that they have another daughter so close to the birth & death of the first
-
Information on the net states Mary Louisa was born on board ship in 1839 and died soon after. Henry Cadby WELLS wife was Hannah HILL. You are confusing the WELLS generations.
Marriages Sep 1839
HILL Hannah Bath 11/44
WELLS Henry Bath 11/44
The ANDROAMCHE arrived in June 1840 not 1841.

Elizabeth JANSON has done an enormous amount of research on the pioneers of what became the Colony of Victoria. Lovely lady :)

Henry Cadby Wells married Hanna Hill 9 September 1839. In December 1839 they boarded the ship Adromache in Plymouth and sailed to Port Philip Bay. Onboard Mary was born and was nicknamed Polly by the captain. Polly died and was buried at sea. The ship arrived in June 1840.
Henry and Hannah went to Point Nepean where Mary Louise Wells, also nicknamed Polly, was born 7 June 1841 in Sorrento and Baptised in the Church of England, Parish of St. James on 10 October 1841.
The dates and Henry's wife don't seem to add up. I am pretty sure that Henry Cadby Well's father and mother were Henry & Martha

As usual cando, you are quick ;D

I should have checked further....not like me at all :-[ :-[
They married 9 Sep 1839 and they sailed from London on 28 Feb 1840. So the child was born at sea in 1840 not 1839, and according to a family story, near the Isle of St Paul in the ?Indian Ocean
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%8Ele_Saint-Paul Possibly a premature birth.

It is not right
Our apologies for trying to help. You may want to elaborate a bit further then ???
-
I do not think that the history of Henry Cadby Wells & Martha Cadby is correct
I have the whole Wells family?????
All ythe information has never been verified
-
Again could you then tell us what you want to know exactly and what you doubt ???
All the information has never been verified
I have just had a look at one of the websites that cando has mentioned and it provides source numbers that can be ordered. There is a contact email that you could use to find out if this lady possibly has the documents and she could share them with you.
You say "I have the whole Wells family", what exactly can't you verify and what exactly do you want to know ???
Again, we are only trying to help. If you have doubts then share them as there are many wonderful people that do have access to information and documents.

Robert rowley was not on the the same ship
How is this man related please ???

A child was born and died near the Isle of St Peter in the Indian Ocean between Feb and Jun 1840. This would have been entered in the ship's log. The ship arrived on 26 Jun 1840 and a year later....

What is the possibility that Hannah gad another child in the time frame
The ship arrived in June 1840 and the first Mary was already deceased. The second Mary was born June 1841 so 12 months is ample time to have another child ;D
-
All that i wanted was to verify her birth.
Her second marriage is to David Kelly
There is much publishedf(Wells Polgalaise Connection) about this family
All that iI wanted to do is verify information.
David Kelly is not the son of an Earl, the rev Isaac Rooney is his half brother
-
Steve are you the author of all the posts with your username? There is certainly a difference in the tone of the requests and responses of late.
All that i wanted was to verify her birth.
Which was done in reply#1 and which you appeared reluctant to accept.
Pointless mentioning other family members unless we have specific details and what info you require eg I have a newspaer article, where Frank Henry Wells visited hi great Uncles Pub (Roebuck Inn) Wiltshire
Happy hunting with your research.
