Does anyone have any info on Elizabeth McKay 1898-1950? She married Benjamin Davidson in Antrim, Ireland in 1919. She may possibly have been born somewhere in Scotland?
Many thanks

Possible death in Fife 1980

Scotland's People says there were 32 Eli*abeth M*kays born in Scotland in 1898 alone.
Can you get a copy of their marriage certificate to see what her father's name and occupation was?
Where did she die? If she died in Scotland her death certificate should tell you her parents' names.
Without some more clues, you are not going to be able to work out which of the 32 she was - and if it was that she died in 1950 aged 52, she could have been born in 1897 rather than 1898, in which case you'd have to check another 19 Eli*abeth M*kays.

Well I know that she was born on 10/12/1898 and died on 06/03/1950. She married Benjamin Davidson on 10/09/1919 in Carnmoney- however her fathers name isn't listed on the wedding certificate.

She was living in Ballycraigy County Antrim at the time of her death

Hmm. I think what you need is to find some kind person who is planning a visit to the Scotland's People centre and would be willing to look at all the Eli*abeth M*kay births until they find the one born on 10 December.
(You did mean that she was born on 10 December, married on 10 September and died on 6 March? Not 12 October, 9 October and 3 June, which is how an American reader would interpret those dates? It's alway a good idea to spell out the month when quoting dates, to avoid possible confusion.)
