Title: Chattell
Post by: Tearose on Saturday 29 June 13 11:41 BST (UK)
My main line of research is Chattell, my maiden name.
Islington, Tottenham areas of London.
Just thought I'd put a post on as I have a couple of months break, but time to pick up again.

Thanks everyone  :)

No help as far as family history, but when I was a child growing up in Granville, NSW, our neighbours were Mr and Mrs Chattell from England. After living out here for a number of years, they went back "home", but Mrs Chattell came back to visit years later ... on my wedding day! She was so excited to have arrived to share my special day, and stayed with my parents for a week or two after :)

I remember her husband was Bert, and her son was Brian. The son stayed in Australia

No, sadly. Mr C senior passed, around that time, Mrs C not long after she returned to England, ... and their son just lost contact
