Is there anyone with access to the parish registers for either Haverfordwest and/or Dale and who would be kind enough to provide me with details of the following entries, if they in fact exist.
John Waters - marriage, purported to be at Haverfordwest on on the 21st April 1790, or burial, purported to be at Dale in 1820. A 'no trace of entry' reply would also be useful to me.

Only John Waters marriage that comes up on FindMyPast is in Tenby in 1788 to Anne Rees.
No John Waters burial in Dale in 1820, and clearly not the one you're looking for but there's one in Dale for Hugh, John, Allen Frowler(?) Waters on 19 June 1818, aged 5 months, abode Towns End. Commas between the names but no mention of more than one child.

Many thanks Deirdre784 for your efforts. I was aware of the child Hugh John Allen Fowler Waters who was the son of John Lawes Waters who was almost certainly a different individual to the John Waters that I am chasing, who is supposed to have married and died in the years previously indicated

Hello New here ,but am researching Haverfordwest my interests are the John/Johns (S here was added by ancestor in 1780, surname became Johns) also Phillips and Lang Families. Am in same time period mid to late 1700,s.

Hi Edgar. Maria John is one of my 'brick walls' of which I now have a complete set. She was born about 1771 and married John Waters at Walton West, Pembrokeshire, on the 21st April 1791. I have no idea as to her origin. There were herds of John or Johns roaming the hills of Pembrokeshire (and the rest of Wales) and identifying them is pretty much mission impossible unless they owned property and left wills.
