Title: Macofsky/Meyers Cleveland OH
Post by: familybuff on Friday 21 June 13 18:26 BST (UK)
I'm looking for information about my great great grandparents, Otto Macofsky (Mackofsky, Makofski, Mackowsky) born 10/30/1868 in Prussia and died 11/2/1944 in Cleveland OH.  His wife is listed in some documents as Lena and in another as Augustine.  Lena was born in 1870 in Germany died on 6/22/1926 at Cleveland State Hospital in Cleveland OH.  There are multiple spellings of the last name depending on what documents one is looking at which makes it quite difficult to find!  It also appears that their children, Willie, August, and Elizabeth may have used the last name Meyers instead of their original surname.  Any insight would be most appreciated.

Can you let us know what you have and what else you are looking for?  Do you have census records, obituaries, vital records for their children, etc.?

What information do you already have?  Are you looking for census records, marriages of the children, death certificates, immigration, naturalization?
