Only just discovered that we have lost Monica as our moderator. She will be a greatly missed on Rootschat, her friendly style and good advice was much admired by us all.

Kind and generous words from you all - hugs and thanks from me to you too. It has been a complete pleasure for me to chat and try to help with the puzzles. My life is a little busy at the moment (good things) but I will pop in and out of RC, as we all do  ;)

Thanks for your your help, both personally with me and with all the other Rootschatters. The amount of knowledge you have shared has been phenominal (spelling?) and made many a search so much easier.

Hi Monica,

Have to say, I too will miss you as you have been a dedicated and most helpful individual. I think through PM's a lot of us will have felt a "wee affinity" which will definitely be missed but good luck in whatever it is you are leaving to do and all the best for the future.

How can you get so overcome/emotional with a situation with someone you have never met in real life? You just get to feel aquainted I suppose.
Just glad to hear you are not leaving altogether so enjoy "yer wee brek"  ;D

I think it's a great pity that Monica's parents gave her such a name. I wish they'd called her Mary Ann.   ;D

 When I'd searched for 50 years Monica found my South African cousins.The reunion was wonderful.Enjoy your other life, Monica.
