Title: Lissan graveyard
Post by: teacake on Thursday 20 June 13 21:17 BST (UK)
I,m trying to locate the burial place of an ancestor who lived in Creevagh/Lissan, Tyrone in 1880s,does anyone know if there was a graveyard in Creevagh or would they have been buried outside that locality,my ancestor was Bernard McCann and he was RC.

1 Drumragh Old Grave yard

2 St Marys Drumragh

3 St Marys Killyclogher Cappagh
4 St Marys Knockmoyle Cappagh

These are the most likely places, but as always if the family came from outside the parish he could be buried else were in a family plot?
Also but I think it opened later the Mixed graveyard on the Dublin road Omagh,Omagh Distrct Council owned, run and kept?

There are some graveyards on there, but they are in the process of adding to it.  Might be worth checking back and forth though  :)
