Hi
I am trying to determine how Frederick Manser D.O.B 1845 fits into the two Manser Families living in Hadlow, as found in the 1901 Census. i.e. whos son was he?.
I would think that they are all related some how.
Thanks for any help.

Hi John
Welcome to Rootschat
Which Frederick MANSER do you mean from the 1901 census ............. the surgeon age 57 b.Rochester or is there another one that I am missing?
Best wishes

Hi,
I can see 2 Frederick Mansers in Hadlow in 1861, but they are both 10 years out (age 6). The are both born and living in Hadlow
One is the son of William (32, Ag Lab) and Caroline (22) and has a brother Harry (5 mths)
RG9/495 Folio 6 p. 9
The other one is living with Grandmother Sophia (widow, 76).
RG9/495 Folio 36 p. 28
There is another Frederick Manser of about the right age (17), born Rochester/Kent and a 'pupil' at Chatham, at the home of a surgeon, John J Ely
RG9/481 Folio 140 p. 3

Thanks for a quick reply
My GGrandfather was born in Hadlow but living in Southwark Middlessex for the 1881 census.
not 1901.
