Hello,
I am looking for an Eliza Gray or an Eliza Jane Gray who was born around 1861 in Derriaghy in County Antrim. I know she ended up marrying a William John Martin where they ended up living in Stoneyford and then Belfast. They had 5 children - 5 boys and 1 girl. The daughter was called Mary Anne Martin who is my great grandmother. I was wondering if anyone had any information on a Gray family that lived in that area around that time.
There is also a possibility that ELiza Gray's mothers maiden name was McConnell though that is not 100% certain
Thank you very much
Lynette

A bit of background for the reference of others, the 1901 census record:
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Antrim/St__Anne_s/Little_Distillery_St_/982507/
The 1911 census suggests a marriage in or around 1890:

The following would be a candidate for the marriage and may offer up detail of Eliza's father to help trace her:

Also,
I was wondering if anyone knew of Andrew Gray and a Eliza Jane McConnell and any information. Possibly born in County Armagh or Antrim. I am trying to see if they are the parents of my great great grandmother Eliza Gray.
They possibly had up to 4-5 children - one possibly being Catherine Gray born 10 July 1877. I'm just trying to find a connection if their is one.
I've searched the national archive census and Belfast burial records.

Joseph Gray and Mary Ann Gordon are now my two possible parents to Eliza. I've got this from my Aunts records though just names I've no dates for BMD.

Hi my wifes grt grandmother was Eliza (Gray) Martin their son Joseph Gray Martin was her grandfather. I have a bit of information on the family but not a lot. Eliza Gray married William John Martin Sept 1889, I believe they had 8 children in total. Elizas father was called William and he was a farmer. Contact me, maybe we can compare notes.

Hello there, from Tony Gray of new Zealand.
I came across your email by accident and I think we are related since names you have quoted are also names in the mix of my ancestors too.
Quite often these names of brothers and sisters are handed down from generations and therefore I believe my great, great grandfather named Robert Coulter Gray whom came
from Antrim Northern Ireland to new Zealand is related.
I wont go into all my detail as you may not see this. if you do, send me an email and i will get in touch.
Robert Gray, parents Thomas and Elizabeth Gray, maiden name Armstrong. Church Ballyeaston firth Presbyterian Church. Residence Ballynaslee Antrim.
Hopefully you see this.
Cheers
Tony
