Hi,
I think you have the correct lady. 1916 Edward Clulow married Sarah Jane Stewart in Christchurch Church of Ireland, Shankill, Belfast.
Regards

Possibly her in 1911:

Isn't it kind of weird that of the streets Mary Lennon has transcribed from the 1943 Belfast Street Directory (she only has WYZ to go), that there are under 10 Clulows, and 2 of them (albeit one a spelling variant) are in Clementine Street? Just one of those coincidences I suppose.

what do you think of this census return for 36 charles st south[st georges ward, belfast antrim] sarah jane stewart age 38 sister isabella age 13 mother margaret age 50 .sarah janes age blotted over i reckon it should be 18 ? birth circa 1883. there are other siblings as well ,mother still a widow.
-
2 births that should get her parents as her name is quite common on the index but her brothers arent. gordon stewart birth .jan march 1885, belfast vol 1 page 286. or charles albert stewart apr june 1891 belfast vol 1 page 277.
-
brother gordon stewart age 26 at 222 matilda st[ st georges, antrim 1911] married to rose mcCourt apr june 1906 belfast vol 1 page 273.
-
sister, agnes stewart married firstly robert richardson oct dec 1898 belfast vol 1 page 351.secondly thomas moffatt apr june 1904 belfast vol 1 page 267. thomas lived at 12 boyne square 1901 age 17 and at 236 matilda st in 1911 age 27 with agnes and children.

might track her this way ,i wonder did she apply for a widows pension ,i think there are some archives relating to this at Kew,maybe some one more knowledgable on here can enlighten you on this, by the way i googled her name and came across some one in belfast inquiring into edwards record.
-
Thanks to all for the replys Clulow is a rare name so any clulow on the lists are more than likely related to me in some way, i have tried for edwards service papers on ancestry and they dont seem to have survived his medal roll from the boer war is there but sarah jane was his second wife after his first wife died in 1910

As an aside, in case you haven't already noticed it, James Evatt Clulow's probate is listed on the PRONI website.
-
I had'nt noticed that will have a look now thank you
-
And just found the will of another Clulow on PRONI thanks for the heads up there on that

Hello, I'm the great granddaughter of Agnes Moffat. I think we have some photos of her and another lady possibly her sister when they were young. I'm new to this site so will have to investigate how to show the photo(s)
