I've only recently understood a little bit about Bastardy Bonds .
What I am unsure of is would there have been a Bastardy Bond for someone born 1929 - Fulham. If so, where would I start to find this please? If not, what were the records for this at that time & are they available at all.
Any help gratefully received.
Thank you

Bastardy bonds were only used until 1834.
I don't think any such documents were used in 1929?
If no father is named on the birth certificate, maybe the parish register entry would hold a clue?

Ah ! So there maybe some other type of record which superceded the bastardy orders perhaps to enable the mother to collect from the child's father.
Very interesting to note these bonds were only used to a certain date. Thank you.
I doubt he was baptised . The birth cert does not show a father.
