Title: Hankey family
Post by: David Hankey on Sunday 09 June 13 09:08 BST (UK)
Looking to trace Alfred & Doris Hankey who emigrated to Wollongong, New South Wales in the 1950's. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I understand there were 2 children, (*), who went with them but I have no other details. Regards, David

Thank you all for your replies.

I wish to apologise to the Moderator and others for my unfortunate error.

I'm not sure who I should have sent my 'PM' to with so little scant information.

Apologies again, David

I think your Alfred Hankey may be the son of John Hankey and Mary Halliday m. Apr-Jun 1905 Chorlton, Lancashire, England
Doris Hankey was Doris Edith Parker b.c1915 d.24 Aug 1990 Unanderra, NSW, AUS d/o Robert Stebbings Parker and Emily Edith Medcalf
(I had been looking for the death of Doris Sankey d.11 Jan 1989 Carlingford and wanted to eliminate your Doris through mis-typing or bad spelling)

Thanks for your message. Since my original post other information has come to light. You are correct with the details of Doris Edith Parker. Her birth date was 13th December 1914.

Thanks for your help, Nameerf
