hi

does anybody have this person on their tree as she is my great grandmother she was born in Pennsylvania she married a Robert William at some point in the 1920s

There was a birth record for Estella May Harsch - 18 Sep 1904 - Father Christion Harsch Mother :- Hannah McGavin. Baptised St Paulīs Lutheran Church Philadelphia. PA. 2 Oct 1904. Godparent Carrie Harsch and Jas Trimenhorn  ???

i did find a christian Horsch and a Hannah Megargey having a child by the name of stella but could not find much else, thank you for looking  :)

There was a passport application 10 June 1903 for a Christian Horsch born 12 Jun 1844 Heide, Germany. Had been in Philadelphia 1873 - 1903. A painter. Intended to return within 2 years.

I wonder if the 1844 Christian had a son  Christian in 1872

This looks like Stealla - 1920 census Philadelphia Ward 31, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

i also wonder if the surname is horsch but could have looked different when written so could be confusing on the records

that could have been because stella probably was already married then as my grandmother was born around 1927 her father was robert williams

anc tree suggests this was Christian under John - Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 1880  ???

Not sure that tree is correct - this looks to be John Hirsch in 1910 with his widowed Mother and it states he is single.  ???

yes this the one they had a daughter called estellealso known as stella and she married my grandfather walter j taggart snr
