Someone said it could be in St Cuthberts Blyth but is this correct?

Gen - according to the National Inventory of War Memorials it's in the school chapel:

If that's no longer the case you can inform the site so they can update their records.

I was past the former site of the Wellesley school in Blyth last week and it has been cleared and loads of bricks are on the site - building soon?
I found a website which mentions the memorial being at the entrance to St Cuthberts church in Blyth, that seems a recent location.
With all the Blyth experts on this site, I was sure someone would know:-)

Have you tried emailing the person ,who is given as holding information on the memorial,
via the North East memorial project,
reputed to be damaged by vandals

I'm not sure about 1914-1918 memorial, but I had the honour and privilege of representing Blyth Town Council at the re-dedication of this memorial within St Cuthbert's Churchyard in July 2010

Thank you Alisdair for the grand photo. I've blown it up and it reads "In memory of Albert James STONE Royal Navy and the boys of the Wellesley Nautical School who gave their lives 1939-1945" After that follows their names and whether they were in Royal Navy, Merchant Navy or Army.
