Post by: selwynfroggitt on Sunday 26 May 13 17:12 BST (UK)
Helen died in 1961 and the address was 10 Brunswick Square, Gloucester.. the probate refers to her daughter Helen Elizabeth Catherine Brown..
I have Helen Elizabeth marraige 1971 and her death as Helen Elizabeth C Jones Dec 1984 in Gloucester..
I am trying to find more information about Helen Elizabeth as I think that this her daughter born in India and is a relation to my family.
No Hearn / Brown marriage so may have married in India

Thank you Suzard,
Helen and Leslie divorced and he married  again, he returned to the UK with his son by second marriage but within months his wife died and he returned to India where he he married again but died young. It is their son who is related   it is only recently that I found that Helen  had returned to the UK with her daughter and that they were both deceased..
Now trying to find out whatever I can but have only the address shown in the will.. presume Heln Elizabeths first husband died but no idea of his name or if they had children etc.

Now know that that they returned to India and she marrie there... great information. I have searched the India sites for a marriage but not found it..I did find her parents marriage in India but they do not cover all areas.
Just checked BMD and if they returned to family in Surrey  there are the births of 2 children...
glad I posted
I did get a very detailed and helpful reply from the India site and they say that they hope to have all the records available on the net this year

Hello Helen,
I have Lesley Arthur Hearn and his son is a relative of my daughters in-laws.  Lesley returned to India and his son remained and was looked after by a neighbour until someone called to collect him. The neighbour was a relative of a lady on this site username Stella and Stella was also trying to find out what happened to the child as her relative knew him and always wondered what happened to him.
It is 10 years since I was working and I as yet can not put names as they may still be alive.
This Hearn family are the in-laws of my daughters family who live in Scotland
