I have a Margaret Rose Mortimer born Bury St Edmunds 1937.
She has numerous siblings from 1920 to 1941 all separate by 2 years. Fine
Cannot find a marriage.
There is a Reg M marrying a Foreman 1955 Bath and both these were born Bath 1930 - fine.
There is another marriage for an Ernest Ed Mortimer in 1909 m Mary Foreman . In 1911 they have a daughter Violet b 1910.
Mary Forman is born about 1890, so the last child b 1941 who died she would be around 50y old.
Please can some one help me find another marriage for these 2 closer to 1920.
I have sent for the marriage cert of Marg Rose Mortimer and it's arrived ( am travelling ) so haven't
got it yet. I would like some patience or some one to help me with this.
Thank you

I post this asking for help and news comes in from the cert about Marg Rose Mortimer.
her parents were indeed Ernest Edward M and Mary Ann Foreman, m 1909 and last child born 1941, Mary Ann born 1890 ish.
Violet born 1910, then Ernest Ed M is in the army for a while until it seems 1913, then the next child born 1920.
So more investigation needed to understand this.
Thank you any one who spent time on this albeit a little

Only just seen this so not sure if you are still interested but Ernest and Mary Mortimer (married in 1909) were my great grandparents (Bury St Edmunds). They had 12 children which we know survived birth but there could have been many more! Violet (1910-1920), Mary (1911-1932), Ernest known as Sonny (1913-2004), Phyllis (1917-2001), Florence (1920-200?), Frederick (1922-1991), Lily (1924-? USA), Kathleen (1926-2005), Irene (1929-?), Reginald (1931-1937), David known as Ronnie (1933-2005) and Margaret Rose (1937). Hope this helps.
