Another spell-as-you-like problem with McAuley / McCauley / McCawley - help would be appreciated!
My GGGF Alexander McAuley married Nancy Fee (1798 – 17 January 1875) on 19 November 1830; he is the "Alic McAuley" in the William Fee McKinney notebooks (PRONI T/1013/2A); they had at least 5 children.
Was Nancy (Agnes?) Fee one of the same Fees? And can anyone provide more information about Alexander?

Found a little more info at the church:
Alexander McAuley, Ballyearl, to Agnes, daughter of James Fee, Ballyhenry. Witnesses: William Fee [her brother?] and Robert Simson. At her father's. John Dill [officiating = he was Carnmoney minister at the time].
IGI gives the name as Agnes Alice McAuley Fee, daughter of James Fee and [no first name] Ferguson.
Still keen to trace Alexander/Alic (now known to be of Ballyearl) and any link to the McKinney side of the numerous Fees.

Just to clarify - the IGI entry "Agnes Alice McAuley Fee" may be a misread of the marriage between Agnes Fee and Alic (= Alec, Alexander) McAuley. We are lucky to have the McKinney notebooks but they are not perfect or always legible.
