Title: Michael MAHONY born about 1857 from Tipperary

Hi just trying to find any information about Michael Mahony.   Michael MAHONY was born about 1857 and married Bridget HEFFERNAN on 1 March 1878 at the Catholic Chapel of Sollohed in Tipperary, Ireland.  At the time of the wedding, Michael was a Railway Porter living in Limerick Junction, Tipperary.  Father was William MAHONY, who was a labourer, and his wife, Catherine DUNN.  Emmigration to Australia in 1887 with five of their children and shipping records state that the family was living in Kings County, Ireland when they departed.  I would love to know any information before this if possible.

Rootsireland.ie a pay per view site South Tipperary centre has three baptismal records for Mahony children father Michael and mother Bridget Heffernan- Kate 1879 Bridget 1881 and Patrick 1883 - if the childrens' names match the information you have might be worthwhile getting the records. I didnt' find any baptismal record for a Michael with parents William and mother Catherine Dunn but not all the Tipperary parish records are available.
