If anyone is interested in scans of invoices for corn wheat and sacks for hogstowe mill , shrewsbury for a mr b and t blakemore date around the 1870's- 1880's . invoices are from w.l.browne, of castle mills , and john newman woodhamsof the corn exchange buildings , george young of pontesbury (general merchant) .

Hi there, I would be very much interested please as these Blakemores were direct ancestors and I'm keen to know more about their life at the Mill!

Just pointing out, David, that the original post you have just replied to was back in April 2013.

Thanks goldie, this is a branch of my family too .
Hogstow is not inShrewsbury but some miles South on the Bishops Castle Road.
