can anyone tell me when the Anthony family first came to settle in Western Australia,seems to be around the Harvey area,thankyou

First birth I can find for Western Australia 1864 Fortune mine Mary Ann to Sephania and Luiesa Anthony.But if you have some names I'll have a better look.

hi ciderdrinker,the first of the Anthony clan i have being born in scotland and buried over here are william anthony and his wife susan(macpherson).the later being buried at old harvey cemetery,documented, though william is supposed to be burried around that area too.Not sure if they are the first of the clan or if there were others and thats why they may have followed.

Not finding anything on the passenger records.
On the birth index -Thomas Richard Anthony married Alice Stevenson 1896 sawyers valley and had George Henry 1897,Ellen Mary 1899,Charles Richard 1902 and Robert 1902. 1903 electoral register sawmill hand Worsley.
Other couple Joseph and Lizzie had a John 1896 at cue western Australia.
No sign of William and Susan till latter on the electoral registers I'm afraid.

The couple mentioned by ciderdrinker were born in England and emigrated to WA on the BURLINGTON in 1863. They moved onto Victoria.
William ANTHONY was born in Scotland in 1864. Married Susan McPHERSON in 1888 and emigrated from Liverpool to Fremantle in 1911.
