Hello,
I'm hoping someone can help me out please.
Background: I'm trying to locate a Scottish prisoner captured at the 1650 Battle of Dunbar and deported to The Colonies. On Thursday, 03 Feb 1652 a request for a report on these Scottish prisoners was recorded in the Common Journal (Volume 7, page 254, column 1, paragraph 4): "Ordered, That the Council of State do take into Consideration, what Prisoners of the Scottish Nation have been taken during these Wars, either in England or Scotland; and to make an exact List of them, and how they have been disposed of, and where they now are; and report the same to the Parliament with all Speed: And likewise that the Council do take Order, that a fit Provision and Relief be given to such of them as are in Prison, and in Necessity, according to the Rules formerly given." http://www.british-history.ac.uk/report.aspx?compid=24155
Question: How do I locate the response to this request?
Thank you very much!
