Good Afternoon,
I am hoping some one will be able to help me with information regarding the deaths and burial of Marion and Thomas Liddell. I believe Marion died 21st July 2011, but i have no idea when Tom died. Their address would have been in Crosby Liverpool.
Any help most gratefully received
Many Thanks

The 2011 death is too recent to have any info for. If Marion died in Crosby - you could try looking through the Liverpool Echo/Crosby Herald for an obituary notice which may give details of the funeral. Are you sure they were buried and not cremated?
When was Thomas Liddell born? If he died after 2006, there will be no online info

Hello CaroleW
Thank your for your help, I found the following
Marion Liddell
24th July 2011
LIDDELL - MARION, July 24th, 2011. Peacefully in hospital, aged 86 years. Reunited with husband Tom and will be sadly missed by all the Liddell family .......
it goes on to say that she was cremated.
Regards

I note from your other post that Thomas was b around 1925 and the marriage was around 1950 in Scotland
Thomas must have died after 2006 as there is no matching online entry for him unless he was Thomas M W Liddell in which case there is a death in 1966

Hello CaroleW
I believe his middle initials were M W, ( Mclean not sure what the W Stood for) and from family talk the year sounds familiar, did he die in Crosby ?

Letters of administration were granted at Liverpool on 17 February 1966 to Marion Arthur Gray Liddell, widow, over the estate of Thomas McLean Wilson Liddell of 74 Rosedale Avenue, Great Crosby. He had died on 22 January 1966 at Aintree Hospital, Liverpool 9.
Effects £2396.

my grandpa gordon riddoch liddell had a brother thomas liddell, who was born sometime in the mid 1920's (I don't know if its the same guy, as my grandpa was from carmyle scotland, not ireland)
I have a lot of pictures of the liddells, would you like to look thru them, and tell me if you recognize anyone? I can't send them in messages here, but my email is joli-et-calin@hotmail.com.
