Can anyone find John Hughes for me, I have him after his marriage to Ann Howard, BUT even though I have brief marriage details I don`t know who his parents were or where they were in 1841. I think this is the correct one in 1851, but can`t find the connection between Peter Williams and Mary ? Hughes ? and John Hughes.
Thanks

There is a Tree on Ancestry which has one Thomas in 1851 as a Thomas Whitefoot Sibeon born in Liverpool in 1834.It has Thomas W's mother as an Elizabeth Harrison with no birth details. His fathher is given as an Isaac Sibeon born in Holywell in 1810.

William Russell Jones.

Thanks, but I`m looking for John Hughes ;)

All the relationships appear "Sibion" family related.
Thomas is the son of William Sibion and Elizabeth(Lancs OPC)
Mary Williams is nee Whitefoot, nee Sib(b)ion.Daughter Rebecca from first marriage is with Peter and Mary in 1841.
Thomas Edwards is the illegitimate son of Margaret Sibion, presumably a sister, and Thomas Edwards.
Margaret Sibion then marries a John Hughes(1833),and the John of interest is their son.
I can't find this family on the 1841,perhaps one or both parents have died. There is a John Hughes of the right age in the St Asaph workhouse in 1841,but the name is obviously not uncommon.

Thanks, that took a lot of working out .
I have been advised that the FindMyPast 1860 parish register entry of my John`s marriage to Ann Howard only has the banns, so that's no help to finding a father
However _ I don`t know where the information on the witnesses has come from. ???

The baptismal entry for March 1834 has the father as a hairdresser, but no specific address.

Thanks for your efforts.
I have managed to get some details on the marriage.
Hayes Marriage Index only has fathers details, but it is still a great help.

Thanks to the added info from the marriage , I may have found the right John. I`m not sure about the place they are at in 1851.
There was also a William Hughes , witness at marriage, but I`ve not seen that so cannot confirm it`s correct.

I think the 1851 address is (currently) Coetia Llwyd. There are two listed, close to each other with postcodes CH8 8BD and CH8 8BE.

Really good page here, assuming it's the tree you're after. I saw it some time back as he's a relative ;)
