Title: Auckland Archives NZ Probate Lookup REQUEST RESILED

Would anyone be able to visit the NZ Archives to view 2 probates for me of William Henry Horner who died 9 April 1944 and his son Harry Horner who died 18 September 1985?

I am particularly interested in finding out if either will gives the names of Harry’s children. Through the electoral rolls Harry appears to definitely have 1 son but in 2 of the rolls there is another Horner a couple of doors away. Both are described as students. Harry’s death certificate however says he has 1 son so I am hoping that the probates will clarify the position.

I am attaching the details from the Archives web site but if further details are need please let me know.

Hi Peter,

Both these records are held at the Auckland office of Archives New Zealand.

It might be a good idea to edit the title of the topic to bring it to the attention of members living in Auckland.

As I have managed to make contact with the Horner family in NZ I no longer need to look at the probate records so will treat this as completed.
