Post by: Sean EC on Tuesday 07 June 05 17:25 BST (UK)
Hi, I am looking for help to find a Joseph Milner could be down as Miller. fathers name Joseph, all census returns say born in Aldridge, Staffordshire in 1833. Although I have not been able to trace. This could be because I have different documents which have spelt name as Milner, Millner, Miller & Miler.

Can anyone help??

Thanks Yes this is him, I found this info only yesterday, which confirmed the other census returns and marriage cert that I had. What I can't find his birth in Aldridge (I question whether he was born in Aldridge) I think it may be Lane End in Stoke.
Or he may have been born in ALdridge but may have been christened elsewhere????

Yes, this is possibly him, but I cannot prove it, as he has on more than one occasion stated his birth in Aldridge. Any suggestions???
