Title: Joseph William Barnes WW1 records
Post by: Sandiebeach44 on Sunday 31 March 13 04:56 BST (UK)
Hi,
I recently found records for my Great Grandfather Joseph William Barnes,
who was a private in WW1.  He was in the Middlesex regiment and I think
in a couple of different battalions.

I have no experience in working out the information on these documents, is there
anyone who might be able to give me a hand?

cheers
Sandie

You might try here for a good set of tips for beginning to read your man's record.
