Hi,

I would be very grateful if anyone could look up the PRIESTMAN family in Beverley on the 41 and 51 census.

They were at Eastgate, Beverley in 1861. 
John (b 1807), a joiner and his wife Jane (b abt 1806), and several children including John (abt 1836) and Emma (1833).

I have PRIESTMAN family in Beverley. my 3xgrgrandmothers sister martha hercliffe married a William priestman. do you have any William in your line? I am away in Montreal, Quebec this week on holiday and once i get home i will see who Williams father is.

I have Priestman in my tree.
Stockton and Yorkshire Riding connections, with a Jane Priestman born Newcastle U Tyne c1844.
May be maternal grandmother link.

Hi Val,

All my Priestmans appear to be in Beverley from about 1700 to Emma b 1833.  She married a Woodall and the line moves to York via Wetherby.

Maybe your Jane an offspring of one of the many siblings of each generation.
