I think there is a strong possibility that this chap is the father of the man in my last posting, which would make him William Hugh Drennan b: 1849 m: 1876 d: 1915. He was a farmer in Antrim. At the bottom of the frame is J. Phillips and 143 Royal Avenue, Belfast. If only pictures could talk a la Harry Potter type facilities!

Hi...If it's a date you are looking for...it would be a good idea to post the back including the corners if you have it as it is a dating tool...this will bring it back up the board.

Thanks Carol. The back is completely blank, save for the indentations from the embossing around the J. Phillips which have carried through. The corners are square.

The cardstock is a late 1890's style & was used into the Edwardian period.

Thanks for that Jim. Date-wise, it could be the chap I was thinking about. He would have been 66 when he died.
