Hi All
I'm seeking help please, with regards to the parents, grandparents etc of:
Elizabeth Griffiths, born 1784 at Whitton, Radnorshire, Wales.
Elizabeth married a Samuel Milward in 1809, in Whitton, Radnorshire. Having moved (with her husband, Samuel) to Tenbury, Worcestershire, England, Elizabeth ended her days (living with her son) in Pershore, Worcestershire. She was laid to rest at Bidford on Avon, Warwickshire ... where her late husband, Samuel was laid to rest, previously.
Any/all help would be very appreciated, many thanks in advance.

I note on family search, (Digital Folder Number 004190786) that Elizabeth was baptised in Whitton on 9 Oct 1784 but no parents are listed.

Hi
On researching the history of the house I live in, Stansall Griffiths came up as having lived here (Gilfach Farm, Whitton). You may find it referred to as "Gilver" or even "Gilva" in census records, etc). If you don't live locally, I wondered if you would like a photo of the house? Apart from windows having been replaced, but copying their original style, I doubt it has altered that much. Also, I could send you a photo of the church where they would be buried if you wish (I will try to find the graves mentioned, but sadly many of the older ones are now illegible).

Hi I have found documentation while researching my family tree Fredrick Pyefinch - Gourock that dates back to 1647 and the family of James and Mary Rodd when their sole heir Elizabeth married John Pyefinch in Presteigne Wales. There is a Pyefinch Cottage they were gifted that still stands in Hereford. I visited Last year. The tree lineage I have carries on till Alathea Pyefinch marries Stansall Griffiths in the 1780’s this tree carries on till Plumstead Woolwich and Scotland. Hope that helps? Thanks

Hi Sh4rn4mo
Alethea Pyefinch who married Stansall Griffiths is in my direct ancestral line. Would you please share the details of the connection between her and James and Mary Rodd? I had thought her parents and grandparents were Henry Pyefinch/Mary Goodere and Henry Pyefinch/Margaret Godwine.
Thanks
Peter
