Title: Kinch family around Rathdrum?

I'm looking for information on the Kinch family in Wicklow. The farthest back I can trace my family is James Kinch, who immigrated to the US sometime in the 1800s and married Sarah Keegan in Illinois in 1850. Anecdotes from older relatives say the Kinches came from Rathdrum.

Do you have any other details on James - maybe from his marriage or death records, i.e. his est. year of birth , names of parents ?

The 1901 census shows quite a few Kinchs in Co. Wicklow, although most seem to be in and around the town of Arklow, which is about 20km south of Rathdrum - see : Kinch, 1901 Co. Griffith's Valuation shows a number of Kinch listings, again most seem to be in, or close to, the town of Arklow - see : Kinch, Co. Francis KEEGAN b.abt.1794 (married 1817) Margaret KINCH b.abt. 1796.
They had ten children I know of, all born in the Rathdrum area:
Elizabeth abt 1819.
Edward bap. 1821 Castlemacadam.
John 1821-1902.
Edward bap. 1821 Castlemacadam.
Margaret b. 1824 Templelusk, bap. Castlemacadam - d.1911 (married W.F.GIBSON).
William b.1825.
Richard bap. 1827.
Sarah b. abt 1830.
Francis (of Chicago) b.1832.
Mary b.1834.
Lucy bap.1838 Castlemacadam.

The family arrived N.Y. 14 Sept 1848, are recorded in Chicago 1850 and Mineral Point, Wisconsin 1860.
