Hi
Looking for information on Mary O'Neil born abt 1871 youngest of 6 children born to Michael & Maria O'Neil. Maria died in 1895 and Mary was then supossedly living in the Gippsland area, l have no marriage or death records of her, can anyone please help me find out about Mary, did dhe married, have children, where she passed away, etc this may then help me with the rest of the family.

Hi Sue,

Did Maria die in VIC? And do you know when Micheal died?
Could be worth having a look in Trove for any family notices as sometimes the kids and or siblings names are mentioned.

You may already have seen it but there is a online will for Maria in the VIC archives. Mary is mentioned and is noted as ONeil so obviously unmarried in 1895.

Mary's birth is registered in 1871, but I can't see a death for her, no matter how I search.    :-\

I looked in NSW BDM for marriages for a Mary O'Neill and there were so many to be sure, to be sure ::)

It may take some checking to see if any of those marriages (141 of them)has parents Michael and Maria :o
