I would be very grateful if someone could look up the 1911 census for Patrick Scanlan ( or Scanlon) born 1841 who lived in Chorlton at time of the census, thanks.

Patrick Scanlon married Eliza Jane Moore in 1872 Manchester Cathedral
William's mother's maiden name is given as Moore on www.cheshirebmd.org.uk
Eliza Jane dies in 1902 aged 47

Thanks for that information Heather., he had a son born in 1894 (dont know where) so it dont look like its him, thanks again for you fast reply :). A Patrick Scanlan died at Chorlton in 1920, i wonder is this the shoemaker ? or the Patrick im looking for ?

There is another Patrick Scanlon living in Stalybridge with the Lee family in 1901. He is also from Sligo and a Cotton Piecer

Q2 1895 registered Listowel
Both places are in County Kerry
