 does anyone know how to get a baptism cd or birth certificate abt 1823 my 2nd greatgrand dad was born in knaresbrough edward mountain saunders would appreciate any help.

There won't be a birth cert as it is before Civil registration began in 1837.

To look for a christening you will need to search parish records for knaresborough.
Someone else might know if there is a CD available to buy, or may have access to the records.
Parish registers will probably be at the Record Office to view.

Not sure why this is on the Derbyshire Board?
Edward was born Yorkshire.

1841 Edward is with his Mother Ann, Unm, Apprentice Upholsterer born c 1826
1851 married to Sarah A.

The Marriage Cert will have his Fathers name Occp.

EDIT West Yorkshire Marriage has his Father as JOHN Saunders, Innkeeper
Married 22 Oct 1844, St Peter, Leeds
(Sarahs Father was MATTHEW Barker)
