Post by: monna on Monday 11 March 13 18:08 GMT (UK)
Is there anyone out there that may be able to verify some information for me.  I am working on my family tree and am confused.

I am looking for information for Richard Constance.  Born 28 Apr 1811, Holborn Lying in Hospital Endall Street, London.

Did he ever marry and have children and when did he die?  Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

This census might prove we are dealing with the wrong family?

1851 census: Reference HO107, Piece 1526, Folio 176, Page 35
1 St John Court, King Street, St Sepulchre, London

Constance, Richard  Head  M  45  Carpenter Foreman  b Clifton, Gloucestershire
Constance, Louisa  Wife  F  43  b London
Constance, Richard  Son  M  14  Scholar  b London
Constance, William  Son  M  8  Scholar  b London
Constance, Frederick  Son  M  6  Scholar  b London
Constance, Ada  Daughter  F  2  b London
Constance, Walter  Son  M  2 months  b London
Constance, Ann  Sister  Unmarried  F  50  Dressmaker  b Clifton

But is the place of birth coincidental? :-\

I'm even more convinced that we have the wrong family! ;D

1841 census: HO107, Piece 728, Book 2, Folio 20, Page 35
Salisbury Arms Yard on Johns Court, King Street, St Sepulchre Without, Newgate

Constance, Richard  M  35  Carpenter  Not born in county
Constance, Louisa  F  30
Constance, Louisa  F  7
Constance, Richard  M  4
Constance, Cecilia  F  2
Constance, Eliza  F  1 month
Constance, William  M  70  Carpenter  Not born in county

Could William be Richard's father?
