Hi
unfortunately I have no credits at the moment for Scotlands People but I did a rfee search for a B*rt M*y in ABerdeen between 1901 and 1911 Not sure if its you lady but maybe worth a look as I see she was recorded as May in the 1901 census and perhaps the "u" in Burt may have been transcribed as an "a"

Hello Amstel,
In 1901, Isabella Burt, age 3, is with Henry Goodrum, trawler cook. Her sister Lily went to New Zealand in November 1922. She married bigamously in 1923 and divorced by husband 1. She died in 1932 in New Zealand. I am trying to find when and where Isabella Burt ( 1897- ??) died to eliminate her from a list of my "possible" grandmothers . Could Isabella have been adopted when her parents died or separated?? Could Isabella and/or Mary have gone to NZ too??
