Please help me demolish this brick wall :-\ - >:( - ??? - :'( - :(
I am looking for the death/burial of Robert Salkeld. He was baptised in Brough-under-Stainmore, Westmorland in 1706. He served as an Excise Officer and took the Sacrament in Patrington, ERY in 1730 and served at Hornsea, Cottingham, Gargrave, (WRY) and Hull. He was living in Hull in 1760, where he was referred to as a Schoolmaster. In 1782 he was referred to, in a 'Dade' baptism entry at Wentworth, Rotherham, as a 'farmer' (of Excise) of Sunderland. His wife was called Elizabeth.

Hi,
The National Burial Index (NBI) records 2 SALKELD burials at St Martin, Hayton, Yorkshire East Riding, but unfortunately the death/burial you are looking for is before the 2 recorded burials.
Perhaps you should try the St Martin, Hayton earlier burial records.
