I am researching family members. Are there any grandchildren of: Albert E. Alfred J. Daniel W. Emily G. Frederick C. Henry F. and Rosina M. HYDE. Their parents were Henry William and Rosina and these named children were born during the mid-late 1800s in London (probably Middlesex).

Hi
Henry William Hyde & Rosina Fritz married at St Pancras 1 June 1867. Are you after making contact with the grandchildren of this couple or after more information e.g census. To save us duplicating what you already have could you please specify what you are after.
Thanks
Rosie :)

Sorry Rosie, my message cut out and unsure if it posted, so will start again.
Because I am researching our family lineage to create a family tree, I wondered if there were any grandchildren of those named Hyde members in my last message.
Daniel William and Rosina were our grandparents and came to N.Z. early 1900s.
He died in 1956 and she in 1942. I want to know their direct Hyde lineage, plus hopefully someone may have photographs or information on whereabouts of Henry and Rosina's other siblings.

Hi there,
Do you have a copy of the printout version of the NZ death registration for Daniel William HYDE? That document would give you information about his children, their gender, age etc. It would also give you lots of other family history information. Daniel William HYDE was aged 86 years when he died 18 May 1956.
NZ BDM online index : https://www.bdmhistoricalrecords.dia.govt.nz/search/
https://www.bdmhistoricalrecords.dia.govt.nz/dataCollected/ Note a certificate contains less information than a printout.
Cheers, JM (I have received lots of good help from RChatters on the NZ Board, but I am NSW based)

Many thanks Majam - yes we do have printout. He was our grandfather and lived with the family until his 1956 death. His elder son was our father Daniel Robert Hyde.

So, are you looking for information about your Daniel William's siblings?
What information do you already have, to save RChatters duplicating that info?
Cheers, JM

Hi
Just adding to "ciderdrinker's" contribution. :)
[Had looked for this HYDE family earlier in response to a (similar) topic posted on the New Zealand board. ]
It transpires that the child indexed as "Emily G. - bc 1878" on the 1881 census, was in fact
Amy Eliza HYDE. ;D

Hi Pamela-anne
(On your NZ thread) I queried the name Rosina which you had linked with Daniel William.
[Please just ignore that now. ;)]
From New Zealand records I found that Daniel's wife was in fact named "Rosa Fanny" -- and from UK records that her maiden name was "ANDREWS" - they wed in 1906.
---------------------
I don't know whether you have the names of Rosa Fanny's parents ?
In 1881 Rosa F. ANDREWS - 3 - born Hampstead is living with her parents (Robert and Rosella ANDREWS) and four siblings, at Hampstead.
Robert ANDREWS (her father) - aged 28 - has the occupation "clerk" (though part of that entry has been struck out).
Of more interest though, is that Rosa has an older brother, Robert W. ANDREWS [bc 1871 ] and on finding the London marriage of Daniel William HYDE's sister - Rosina Maria HYDE (m. 1895) - , it appears that she has married Rosa Fanny ANDREWS', brother Robert. ;D [Confused ? ] :D

I'll take a look tomorrow for more on family of Rosina Maria and Robert William ANDREWS.

Good Morning -Cidedrinker again
First can I say sorry but I think I got the wrong Frederick Hyde as of course he is Frederick Charles.
Could he perhaps have gone to New Zealand? I can't find him in England and there is a Frederick Charles carpenter at Heriot ,Otago with his wife Elizabeth Christina in 1911 on the electoral register for New Zealand.

Thank you Lucy & Ciderdrinker for your help; it is appreciated. Sorry I noted the incorrect name (Rosina) it should have been Rosa Fanny; what a mixup with too many similar sounding names. I have enough info on Rosa's side - her parents were Robert Andrews and Rosetta Caroline nee Hill plus I have their parents. I will pick up on that research once I've completed the Hyde search.
I have no idea Cider if Frederick Charles came to N.Z. The younger son of Daniel and Rosa was named Frederick.
I have: Daniel and Rosa Hyde (nee Andrews)
Henry William and Rosina Hyde (nee Fritz) Need to sight certificate.
Henry Ellis and Sarah Hyde (nee ??) ditto.
Have decided to try searching the free bmd. site or contact b.d.m. in Uk. for printouts as I need to be certain that I am following the correct line.

HI everyone
I have just stumbled across this post. John and Elizabeth Fritz, Rosina Hyde's (Fritz) parents are my Great Great Grandparents.
I am researching my family tree but have not started looking into the Hyde family yet, maybe you can help.
Nick

Hi Nick,
On my family record I have Rosana Fritz as daughter of John and Elizabeth Fritz, married about 1842; Rosana was born 24 August 1842. She married Henry William Hyde in 1867 - (They are my husband's Gt Grandparents).
Henry and Rosana's 5th child was Rosina Maria Hyde born 1875. She married Robert William Andrews in 1895. They had 4 children.

Hi Pamela-Anne
Thanks for the reply and sorry for the delay in responding.
It looks like we are related 3rd cousins (I think). Do you have any information or photographs of Rosina and William?
I have a copy of the parish record for their marriage, tried to attach but the file was too big.
Nick

Hello Nick,
You are probably right in that we could be 3rd cousins, - must admit to getting "lost" when it comes to figuring who's related to who. It's a bit like the song "I'm my own Grandpa" !!
No, we don't have a photograph - wish we did, but I suppose for so many in that era, people didn't own a camera and/or couldn't always afford to have photographs taken.
How far did you get with your family researching ??

It may be better to send documents via email rather than posting them here.
You can exchange email addresses through the personal message (PM) system which you can access by clicking on the clipboard type icon under a users name and avatar. If it is glowing green, there is a good chance the other person may be online.
Hope this helps.
