I am researching Edmund Joseph Wale (son of Joseph Wale and Mary Ann Fox) who worked in Broadway, Worcs, as a gardener for Mrs Frank D. Millet. Edmund married Millicent Smedley and had one son, Brian. He enlisted to serve in the First World War in 1916. Lance Corporal Edmund Wale b. 1885 died 4 April 1918 in Flanders and his wife and son later moved to Kent where Edmund's brothers, Alfred (1880-1961) and Frederick (1890-1958) lived.
I am trying to trace any relatives of Edmund for a project researching the men who died in the Great War that are remembered on Broadway's War Memorial.
Is there anybody with a connection to the Wale family above? It would be great to hear from you.

I am not connected to this family but there is a public tree on ancestry which has the son of Edmund Joseph's wife and their deaths. No children named but I assume that would be for privacy reasons.
The owner is bcaerurfa1. If you do not have anyway of contacting them and wish to do so I would be happy to give them your contact details. Unless of course it is your tree :)

Thanks, I will make contact with him/her.

Not sure if I have had previous contact with you, but I have loads of Wale family information in respect of the exact people that you mention. Would be interested to compare information.

Thanks will send you a message with the email address for the Broadway Remembers Project.
