Title: Combs Parish Records

I have traced my family back as far as Robert Beales born Combs circa 1782/83
But that where I come to a dead stop
He eventually married  Hannah ? b1783 at Gt Bromley (Nr Harwich) in 1809

Are there any records at Combs listing this Robert ?

Do you have Robert and Hannahs marriage details? Hannahs maiden name was MAY.

No that is all I have. Intreaguing why Robert should suddenly appear in Gt Bromley to Marry Hannah. Long way from Combs by horse !
Would really like to know more about the Combs end of the family. Presumably there must have been Beales in that Parish
There were about 40 Beales in St Osyth circa 1880 ( inc children of course) and they all seemed to have originated from the Combs end
