I am looking for the families of James AMEY & wife Hannah WHEELER both born in Sudbury, Suffolk, England about 1830. They had at least nine children, all born in Sudbury between 1852 and 1872. James & Hannah lived in the London area from mid-1870s. Hannah died 1899, James AMEY d 1900; both are buried in Ilford, Essex.
Would love to hear from anyone else researching AMEY and/or WHEELER families from Sudbury.

Dear MHS
I entered "Amey Sudbury" into Yahoo search and it came up with this link amongst others:

Hope this is of help.
Happy hunting.

Many thanks. I found this site too.
There are two instances of a Joseph AMEY m Susan ?, with large family, in Sudbury, and the names and dates are similar to the ones I'm researching, but I've not established a link between the two yet.
Joseph AMEY, father of James AMEY, is a shoemaker.
