on google maps : Millford town to Rathgory townland (https://www.google.ie/maps?saddr=Millford,+Donegal&daddr=Rathgory,+Donegal&hl=en&sll=55.140605,-7.682735&sspn=0.117739,0.233116&geocode=FQmVSAMd7oWK_ylDRUWoaPJfSDHSsRqNMNjp3A%3BFRolSgMd0teK_ylhHn3knPZfSDGCnFG7p8cAJg&oq=rathgory&mra=prev&t=m&z=12)
The townland of Rathgory consists of just over 92 acres and part of the civil parish of Clondavaddog. See : Rathgory townland (http://maps.osi.ie/publicviewer/#V1,620709,938220,6,7) (c1837 OSI map, townland borders are in red)

Hi Shane again,
Can you please help me in the direction to find a marriage. Donegal has a great web page but does list Rathgory but does list Clandavadogg but not the year we are looking for, 1875. If you know where can I look up this marriage information any help would be greatly appreciated.

Since it's after the start of civil records I'd start with the BMD Index (available on the FamilySearch website) - the registration district for the area is Millford.
What denomination are the couple ?
-
Shane,
We have tried the civil records and came up with nothing. They may have been catholic because going by all the children and their children they were all catholic. sorry cant be any more help this is really curious.

The RC parish for the area is listed as "Clondavadoc (Fanad)", so suspect Fanad was where the parish church was located. The National Library of Ireland only mentions marriage records for the parish up to 1869. (NLI microfilm Pos. 4600)
